Sussex and Beijing
2 August 2009by Noble (1)We’ve just been invited to play in China in October which is exciting news.
Possibly Beijing, Taiwan and then Hong Kong. While it’s not 100% confirmed yet, it looks fairly likely.
I’m already planning a trip to the Mai Po Marshes Nature Reserve.
We hope to have a handful of new songs finished before we go, with a single released before 2009 comes to a close.
Writing/recording for the new album has been progressing well at our Pheasant Studios Farmhouse in the Sussex South Downs. I think your going to like it.

Dearest Sea Power,
In less than one week from today I shall find myself thousands of miles removed from my present location (Seattle WA) only to be wandering meekly around those very same Downs in which your music is recorded and possibly even written. This serendipitous coincidence has gotten me to wondering: If, in the off chance you encountered a young American fellow with his ear affectionately pressed to your Farmhouse walls how you might respond? With relative indifference? a call to the constabulary? perhaps a cheerful hello! We just might find out.
