Will there be a vinyl release?

Out of curiosity and excitement for the release,I’ve looked at clips from Man of Aran, and the theme of the tale and the work of British Sea Power make a powerful combination. This is going to be a very interesting album.

I grew up on the mainland just a few miles from the Aran Islands so this is really something. Cannot wait to get my hands on the album.

Sounds really good on a first listen, bits are slightly Sigur Ros in sound and I like.
Haven’t had chance to put the visuals to the sound, but I’m sure that it’ll be the veritable sex.

I love the original version of the film, and I love British Sea Power, so this is gonna be remarkable.

congrats on man of aran!! My mother is from inis maan and i showed it to her last friday. She absolutely loved it ….. very moved by the end. Fabulous soundtrack to an amazing movie. my grandad used to wear the cow-hide shoes, know as “pampooties” and much of the work they carried out in the movie (bar the shark hunting) is still being done (making soil from seaweed, fishing from the cliffs, the jumpers, the shawls, making currachs…). Anyway, hope to see it at greenman this year – can’t wait!!

Absolutely astonishing creation. I’m so happy that the decision was made to use no dynamic compression, it sounds amazing through good hifi. I only wish more artists would choose to produce less loud cds, and indeed BSP will continue the trait on their future albums??…

Enjoyed my first viewing of the film, including the BSP music score, but disappointed that the audio options available on the DVD did not include the original film sound track. The added subtitles helped but the original soundtrack would have been awesome. How can it be accessed?
