On Tuesday BSP played live out on the River Thames, right outside the
Mother of Parliaments. It was all arranged so the Sea Power lads could help
tell Boy George Osborne and chums how better to exploit green wave power.
ONE PROBLEM! No one was let onboard apart from politicians, Kate Humble in
waders and, of course, BSP tour mascot Jacko the monkey, last seen on the
steamer Garth Castle in 1910, rigged out in suitable naval attire. But now
the information gap has been slammed shut. Read this exclusive report from

Next up, BSP are in session on Jo Whiley’s In Concert show on BBC Radio 2
tonight, Thursday 3 March. Also featured will be a live concert broadcast
from the covertly randy Katie Melua, pops answer to Estella Havisham – a
guaranteed sexy spitfire beneath the brocade and supercilious lip-pursing.
Watch for sparks as, first, Katie insists BSP follow her at ten paces – and
then gets down on her knees to beg them all back for a hot-tub jacuzzi. For
sure, radio won’t have heard the likes of this before. BSP are playing two
tracks live. The show runs from 8.00-10.00pm.
BSP have also recorded a session for the XFM radio station. Word on the
street says it will hit hard, like the banner with which the
vermin-infested East End marked the 25th anniversary of King George V’s
reign in 1935: “LOUSY BUT LOYAL”. XFM transmission date to be confirmed.
LIBRARY SHOW INFO
Finally, some details on BSP’s two library shows this weekend. At Rugby on
Friday the support will be the group Life In Film. At Westminster support
will be the leading Caledonian field poet Jock Scot, a man who has worked
with artists from The Clash to Viv Stanshall to The Nectarine No.9. The
schedule at Westminster will be quite tight. Doors are at 8.30pm, but
people are advised to start arriving a bit before then so their details can
be checked off on the Crowdsurge ticketing list. BSP are due to play
9.00pm-10.30pm. Doors in Rugby are at 7.30pm, with BSP on at 9.00pm. NB.
There will be no booze bars at the Rugby and Westminster show, just soft
drinks. Get tanked up before you arrive.
